Glenn Harrington continued

Harrington believes that, as an artist, it is also important to be truthful to what's in front of you in order to bring a certain sense of honesty to artistic observations.

"Patient observation reveals reality, then we are free to interpret imaginatively, " says Harrington. "God is in the variety, I'm astonished at the diversity and beauty of the human form. What excites me is contrasting the linear, architectural elements of a room to the curvilinear forms and individual characteristics of people. People always inspire the work.

And, for collectors, Harrington hopes that their experience in looking at the work is similar to this experiences while painting them.

"Ultimately, I want them to see and feel what I saw when I was painting them, " says Harrington. "And, to recognize a certain level of draftsmanship."
